The ANT-009NPLG is a 9dB omni-directional 2.4GHz antenna that can be used both indoors and outdoors, making it very versatile in terms of what situations in can be used in. Fitted with an N-Type plug connector, this antenna will typically be used with equipment such as wireless Access Points and WiFi IP cameras for the purpose of improving that device's WiFi coverage either indoors (such as in a home or office) or across a wide outdoor area. This antenna excels outdoors in particular because of its 2.4GHz signal, giving it greater range and penetration through surfaces than 5GHz signals, although its full length of 53cm means a lot of space must be allowed for its installation.
